Falcao pressionou Jackson

Jackson Martínez admitiu ontem ter sentido o peso de substituir o compatriota colombiano Falcão, quando chegou ao FC Porto. "Foi uma responsabilidade grandíssima. Os adeptos não esqueceram o que fez Falcão, por isso quem viesse tinha de fazer igual ou melhor. Quando cheguei, as pessoas não acreditavam que fosse possível, pois não me tinham visto jogar, mas tratei de fazer aquilo que sei", disse o melhor marcador do FC Porto na Liga com dez golos, em entrevista à estação televisiva ESPN.

Confrontado com o assédio de grandes clubes europeus (Chelsea e Atl. Madrid são dois dos interessados), Jackson foi prudente. "Quero estar aqui e fazer melhor o meu trabalho a cada dia que passa. O resto chegará como consequência", afirmou o jogador de 26 anos.

Jackson falou ainda da mais recente contratação do FC Porto, o defesa-central Reyes, que tal como ele chegou aos dragões proveniente do campeonato do México. "O FC Porto faz um bom seguimento dos jogadores e precisa de futebolistas que façam várias posições. Vai ser bom para ele."

Iturbe a caminho do River Plate

De acordo com o jornal, os milionários aproveitaram a presença de emissários do FC Porto em Buenos Aires na semana passada, onde estiveram a negociar com o Racing a contratação de Ricardo Centurión, para iniciar as primeiras conversções tendo em vista o empréstimo, já em janeiro, da jovem esperança sul-americana. 

O Olé refere, ainda, que os dirigentes do River acreditam que Iturbe poderá explodir definitivamente na próxima época na equipa, que será orientada por Ramon Diaz.

Na notícia, os elogios ao jovem são frequentes. 

«Por respeito ao meu atual clube não posso falar muito e muito menos dar a minha opinião. Obrigado aos adeptos do River pelas suas mensagens», escreveu Iturbe na sua conta na rede social Twitter. 

O craque argentino, 19 anos, que chegou ao FC Porto em 2011 proveniente do Cerro Porteno com o rótulo de novo Messi, ainda não conseguiu justificar as comparações.

Chelsea dá 35 milhões por Moutinho

Owner Roman Abramovich is ready to sanction another assault on the transfer market, with the big-spending Blues eyeing up at least £100m worth of talent ahead of the January transfer window. 

Boss Rafa Benitez will hold talks over transfer targets with the Chelsea hierarchy later this week.
Porto star Joao Moutinho, who has a £28.5m buyout clause, is high on Chelsea’s wish-list, while Everton’s £20m-rated Belgian midfielder Marouane Fellaini is another under consideration.
But Atletico Madrid’s goal sensation Falcao remains Chelsea’s top striker target.
He has a £48m buyout clause and the Blues have already drawn up a £200,000-a-week offer for the Colombian hitman, which would make him the top earner at Stamford Bridge.
Sturridge was left at home for Chelsea’s trip to Japan last week for the Club World Cup and his exit to Anfield is expected to be completed in the first week of January.
Starsport understands the two clubs have agreed a fee for the 23-year-old England international, who is set to pen a £70,000-a-week long-term deal.
Sturridge’s exit will kick off a vital month for Benitez, who will be left with just one out-and-out striker in Fernando Torres. 
They also need midfield reinforcements after Oriol Romeu was ruled out for six months after knee surgery.
The Blues could also face pressure from Frank Lampard to let him leave next month, with his uncle Harry Redknapp keen to take him to QPR.
Chelsea have made it clear they won’t offer Lampard, 35, a new contract when his current deal ends this summer, but they also have no plans to let the England star leave next month.
Confirming the planned transfer talks, Benitez said: “We have time before January to talk.
“The question for us was that we just got home yesterday and then have another game against Leeds (in the Capital One Cup tonight).
“We have two or three days after this game, so we have plenty of time after Leeds.
“The people in charge are working so it will be easy to talk about names.
“Sporting director Michael Emenalo watches training and we talk about the team and what we need. We chat every day. 
“We talk about players. I know what he likes, he knows what I like. It is just a case of agreeing on what we need.”
CHELSEA have warned their players and staff to be more careful with secret club information after Benitez’s tactics sheets were found in the dressing room rubbish following their Club World Cup defeat to Corinthians.
They appeared to show the Blues’ defensive tactics from corners and specific instructions for players.
